Summary: 

The LHA's PR & Marketing Constituency Group provides a forum where hospital PR/marketing professionals can network, share best practices and discuss emerging issues facing the industry (i.e. pricing and transparency issues, telling the hospital story by “Redefining the H,” legal issues regarding social media, local media stories, state budget issues that impact patient access and services, etc.); identify resources useful to that constituency, which are not readily available elsewhere; provide professional development opportunities; and allow for input and feedback on pro-hospital industry PR strategies.

Pelican Awards Call for Entries

Each year, the Louisiana Society for Hospital Public Relations and Marketing (LSHPRM), an affiliate of the Louisiana Hospital Association, sponsors the Pelican Awards to recognize and encourage excellence in hospital public relations and marketing. The Pelican Awards include 34 different categories. Awards will be presented at the LHA Pelican Awards Luncheon on Friday, November 8, 2019 in Baton Rouge, in conjunction with the LHA Fall Program.
