The speaker will share how participants can ensure staff and patients are prepared and safe during times of emergency and disaster. She will provide participants a real understanding of not only what needs to be done, but also what needs to be documented in order to comply with emergency preparedness CoPs. In addition, the speaker will review the primary revision of labs and CLIA waivers for compliance laws and regulations.

OBJECTIVES:

At the conclusion of this session, the participants will be able to:

  • Practice what needs to be documented and one in times of emergency;
  • Identify why compliance with labs and CLIA waiver is so important; and
